Privacy policy

HeartPath app for Android · Effective date: 26 October 2026

Your data stays on your phone

Your health information stays on your phone. The app has no server, no account and no login, and it never sends your data over the internet.

Encryption

Your data is stored in encrypted form inside the app. Nobody — including the developer and your doctor — can see it unless you choose to share a report or a backup file.

No advertising, tracking or analytics

The app has no advertising and no tracking, and collects no analytics.

Sharing reports and backups

When you share a PDF report or save a backup, it goes only where you send it (for example WhatsApp, Viber, email or Google Drive). Those services have their own privacy policies.

Deleting your data

If you uninstall the app or lose your phone, your data is deleted and cannot be recovered unless you have a backup file. You can delete all your data at any time in Settings.

Permissions the app uses

  • Notifications: reminders for medicines, daily readings and exercise.
  • Run at start-up: restores your reminders after the phone restarts.
  • Vibration: for reminders and exercise timers.
  • Keep the screen awake: during a guided exercise session.

On Android the app does not have internet permission.

This website

This website does not use cookies, ads or tracking. It only remembers the language you choose, on your own device.

Children

The app is meant for adults in cardiac rehabilitation and is not directed at children.

Medical disclaimer

This app supports your cardiac rehabilitation at home. It does not replace your doctor, your rehabilitation team or emergency care.

Nobody watches your data from the clinic. If you feel unwell, do not wait for the app — call your doctor, or 1990 for an ambulance in an emergency.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the new version will be published on this page with a new effective date.
